Safeguarding is about protecting children, young people and adults at risk from abuse or neglect. Abuse is not normal and never ok.
Our practice safeguarding policies include following up missed appointments for those aged under 18. This will include both hospital and GP practice appointments. We ask that parents and carers co-operate with the practice if we make contact to follow up missed child appointments. Please understand that in doing this, we are acting to offer support and guidance and to ensure that children receive the best care possible.
